Hi Kerry, this comment is not related to your blog topic, but how did you go with the vigna caracalla? I"m trying to locate on in aus (i'm in byron) and am finding it hard bc everyone seems so convinced the (apparently invasive) phaseolus caracalla is the same one! Anyway, if you've had success with your vigna, i'd love to buy a cutting from you... becksletters@yahoo.com.au
ReplyDeleteHi there - I didn't have any luck with the Vigna actually due to my completely forgetting to water it! They like full sun, damp soil and humid environments. Where I live they die back in winter, so are unlikely to be a problem. I will try another cutting this year and will also look out for the seed pods as it grows easily from seed. If I manage to get hold of any, I will try and remember to post a blog :)
